Stir the Pot is a fundraiser for the Southern Foodways Alliance.

Poole’s Diner of Raleigh, North Carolina, is proud to sponsor Stir the Pot, a seasonal dinner and discussion benefitting the Southern Foodways Alliance’s documentary film initiative. This series is hosted and organized by SFA member and Poole’s Diner chef Ashley Christensen. Each Stir the Pot event takes place on a Sunday and a Monday evening. Click here for the schedule of upcoming dinners.

Sunday, 7 p.m.

The Sunday Stir the Pot dinner is a five-course meal with wine pairings, featuring a guest chef. Tickets are $150 per person. Dinners are held at Poole’s Diner in downtown Raleigh.

Monday, 6–9 p.m.

On Monday, the hungry and curious congregate at the home of chef Ashley Christensen for a potluck dinner. The potluck is for everyone—restaurant industry folks, writers, beverage enthusiasts, home cooks, and people with a general love for food and its history. For the potluck, Ashley Christensen and her guest chef will provide a main course and beverages. Tickets are $35, and guests are asked to bring a dish to share that celebrates their sense of place, wherever that may be.

Christensen and the SFA thank Eliza Kraft Olander for underwriting all of the wines for the Stir the Pot series.

Reservations are required and limited for both events. You do not have to be a guest at the Sunday dinner in order to attend the Monday potluck. Tickets to STP 2012 events will be sold online.
